As a Computational Chemist at InVivo AI, you’ll join a growing team of researchers working at the forefront of machine learning for drug discovery. Located at the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms, a world-leading institute in deep learning research, we specialize in few-shot learning, reinforcement learning, and representation learning in the context of molecular design.
With support from some of Canada’s top investors, our small (but growing!) team currently consists of deep learning specialists, bioinformaticians, and computational and molecular biologists. We do both fundamental and applied research and provide our team the opportunity to publish in top journals and conferences. We also work closely with leading research institutions and pharmaceutical companies, and currently have multiple programs underway in oncology and CNS.

Your primary responsibility will be to implement computational chemistry methods that complement our existing machine learning workflow. This will involve close collaboration with our entire team across both fundamental research projects and ongoing drug discovery programs with our partners. This will also include assisting in structuring research questions and helping to convey results to our partners in a language they understand. Finally, you’ll assist in literature reviews and grant proposals and contribute to technical reports, presentations, and publications on behalf of InVivo.
